LA Lowry is county’s Player of the Week for the 2nd time.

Seven times the Laurens County Touchdown Club has named a Player of the Week. Thomas Lowry of Laurens Academy is the first to win it twice.
The senior quarterback/defensive back was involved in 7 touchdowns in the Crusaders’ 54-0 victory over King Academy, throwing for 4 and running for 3. Each week Lowry puts up prolific numbers. This one enabled LA (5-3) to clinch a playoff berth. A victory over Wardlaw on Friday would ensure a first-round game at home.
