Clinton Girls Soccer Win Big for their Seniors

After the night started with some tears and hugs following Clinton’s Senior Night celebration the Lady Red Devils dried their eyes and went to work.
It was another all around excellent team performance from the Clinton Girls. The defense stood strong throughout the match as it was anchored by our two graduating center backs, Ella Cooper and Daniela Elizondo-Rios. Both of whom won the golden cleat for their efforts. The attacking halve was smooth all night connecting on passes that kept the Devils in Broome’s backfield.
Lauren Wargo scored 2 and had 1 assist, Reese Gowan provided 2 assists of her own, but the player of the game award went to Riley Gowan for her superb performance at striker. She kept pressure on Broome’s center backs and keeper all night and scored Clinton’s first goal of the night.
