Clinton High Varsity Golf Finishes 7th place at AAA Upper State Tournament

The Clinton High School (CHS) golf team competed in the SCHSL AAA Upper State Golf Tournament at Village Greens on Monday, May 8. CHS golf advances to the SCHSL AAA Golf State Championship Tournament with a score of 344 and a 7th place finish at Upper State.

This is the second time in school history that the Clinton High School golf team has qualified for the SCHSL AAA State Championship Golf Tournament. The 2019 Red Devil golf team also qualified for the AAA State Tournament.
“I am proud of our team for qualifying for the AAA State Tournament. Our kids have put in the time and work required to put themselves in a position to play for a championship,” said Coach Campbell. “The AAA Upper State Tournament is always a tough tournament to make the cut to advance. We look forward to representing Clinton with pride next week.”
The SCHSL AAA Golf State Championship will be held at Three Pines Country Club in Woodruff, SC on Monday, May 15 and Tuesday, May 16. The first tee times will be at 10:00 am.
