Laurens County Touchdown Club Honors Logan Martin as Player of the Week for September 25th Performance Against Lexington Wildcats

The Laurens County Touchdown Club is proud to announce that for games played on September 25th, the Player of the week is sophomore linebacker Logan Martin of Laurens District High School.

Martin is a sophomore linebacker and special team’s player for the Laurens District High School Raiders as they played the Lexington Wildcats on September 25th before the Helene storm.

Logan Martin is a Laurens District High School junior who had one interception on the night as well as one sack, four tackles and two kickoff return recoveries on squib kicks.

Head Coach Greg Porter stated; “Logan is a young man that works hard on and off the field and only a sophomore that we are investing in for next season. Logan played hard until the end and this is how we build our culture in our program.”

The Laurens County Touchdown Club will honor Martin on October 17th at the bi-monthly Touchdown Club meeting. The meeting will be at noon at The Ridge in Laurens. Player of the Week awards si presented by Farm Bureau Insurance of Laurens County in 2024.

The October 17th meeting will feature highly popular Coach Mike Ayers, former head football coach at Wofford College and South Carolina Football Hal of Fame member, as our featured The Farm Bureau Insurance “Player of the Week’ awards will be presented for the September 20; September 25 and October 1 High School football games as well.

The Laurens County Touchdown Club meets every other Thursday throughout the football season at The Ridge located in Laurens at 301 Exchange Road and the public is invited. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15. All meetings are at Noon with the food service line opening at 11:45 am.
