Courtney Stonell with KLCB Honored with SCRWA Source Water Steward of the Year Award

This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the protection and preservation of source water resources in South Carolina.
Under Stonell’s leadership, KLCB has initiated impactful programs aimed at reducing litter, enhancing recycling efforts, and beautifying Laurens County. Notably, the “Keep it Clean: Drains to Streams” campaign has raised public awareness about the critical connection between storm drains and local waterways, emphasizing the importance of preventing pollutants from entering the water system.
