Laurens County Citizens on Land Use and Zoning Task Force to Hold Two Upcoming Meetings

The Laurens County Citizens on Land Use and Zoning Task Force has scheduled two upcoming meetings to continue discussions on the county’s future growth, land use, and zoning policies.
Thursday, July 24, 2025 – 6:00 p.m.
Hillcrest Complex East – 105 Bolt Drive, Laurens, SC
This meeting will include a presentation on the County’s Comprehensive Plan by Blake Sanders, followed by discussions on zoning, land use, and upcoming public input meetings. The agenda also includes time for public comment.
Tuesday, July 29, 2025 – 6:00 p.m.
Waterloo Elementary School – 10457 US Hwy 221 S, Waterloo, SC
This meeting will focus on sharing the Task Force’s mission statement, hearing from guest speakers, and a period of public comment so residents can provide input on future zoning in their area of the county.
The Task Force, chaired by Chairman Bell, is charged with gathering public input and helping shape future land use and zoning strategies for Laurens County. These meetings are open to the public, and community participation is encouraged.
