City of Clinton Gears Up for Annual Christmas Parade
November 9, 2025The City of Clinton is once again spreading holiday cheer as plans are underway for the Annual Christmas Parade, set for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM in downtown Clinton.
This year’s parade promises to be one of the most festive yet, with new opportunities for participants to showcase their holiday spirit. For 2025, golf carts, ATVs, four-wheelers, motorcycles, and similar vehicles will be permitted to join the lineup — provided that proof of insurance is attached for any vehicle requiring it for operation on public roads.
There’s no set theme this year, giving participants the freedom to get creative and bring their own version of holiday magic to life. Line-up will begin at 8:30 AM, with the parade stepping off promptly at 10:00 AM. As always, the City reminds participants that no entry may feature a live or life-size Santa Claus — the big man in red will make his official appearance at the end of the parade.
Following the parade, everyone is invited to continue the celebration at the Whitten Center to share in more holiday fun and community togetherness.
City Manager Joey Meadors shared his excitement about the annual tradition, saying, “The Christmas Parade is one of our most cherished events of the year. It’s a time when our entire community comes together to celebrate the spirit of the season, and we’re thrilled to see so many local groups and families take part. This year’s additions will make it even more festive and family-friendly.”
To participate in the parade, interested groups can complete the application available on the City’s website at www.cityofclintonsc.com.
Let’s make this year’s parade merry, bright, and full of Clinton community spirit!
