Clinton Art Gallery Opens 2026 Exhibit Season with ‘ART & SOUL’ Abstract Showcase
January 11, 2026The Clinton Art Gallery is set to open its 2026 exhibition calendar with ART & SOUL, a themed exhibit celebrating abstract and non-representational art from a diverse group of artists.
The exhibit will feature works from more than fifteen artists, each presenting unique interpretations of abstract art through color, shape, and texture. Selected pieces will be available for both viewing and purchase throughout the exhibition period.
An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, at 6 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display through March 14.
Jeannie Browning, gallery director, said the exhibit is designed to highlight a different artistic style while encouraging collectors and visitors to think beyond traditional subject matter. “This is an effort to spotlight a different style while encouraging collectors to appreciate color, shape, and texture as viable subject matter for decor in their homes,” Browning said.
Guests attending the opening reception will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of artistic approaches, enjoy light refreshments, and attend a brief art talk offering commentary on several featured works.
The public is invited to attend the reception and visit the gallery at 113 North Broad Street in Clinton. Artwork may be purchased at any time while the exhibit is on display.
