CrossFit864 and Musgrove Market Bring “Shop the Lots” to Clinton This Saturday

Clinton shoppers have a reason to get out early this Saturday. CrossFit864 and Musgrove Market are joining forces for the inaugural Shop the Lots event, set for Saturday, May 30, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at two locations on Pitts Street and Musgrove Street in Clinton.

The event grew out of a happy coincidence. CrossFit864 owner Janice Long has hosted yard sales at her location since 2009, a tradition that became a staple for Clinton deal-hunters over the years. When Musgrove Market began planning its own Shop the Lot event for the same day, the two business owners recognized the opportunity to do something bigger together.

“We used to do it twice a year, spring and fall,” Long said. “Teaming up just makes sense and gives shoppers even more reason to come out.”

Susan Tallman, co-owner of Musgrove Market, said the collaboration was a natural fit for both businesses and for the community. “Janice was already planning her yard sale and we were planning our own event, so collaborating was just good business sense,” Tallman said. “Everyone loves the thrill of finding a hidden treasure or a great find, and Shop the Lots gives shoppers two locations right here in Clinton to do just that. We think this is the beginning of something really special for our community.”

Shoppers can expect antiques, crafts, food, and drinks across both lots. Musgrove Market is located at 202 Musgrove Street, and CrossFit864 is situated on Pitts Street. Organizers encourage visitors to make stops at both locations for the full experience.

The event is free and open to the public.
