Pawleys Island to host 60th Annual 4th of July Parade and America250 Celebration

June 19, 2026

The Town of Pawleys Island is excited to announce its 60th Annual 4th of July Parade, coinciding this year with a special celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary. Community members, locals, and visitors are invited to join the historic festivities on Thursday, July 4, 2026.

The highly anticipated parade is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 AM, bringing vibrant patriotic displays to the island. Participants and spectators can gather along the official route, which begins at the South Causeway and winds its way through the heart of the community before concluding at the Old Town Hall.

Community members looking to join the procession can register their floats daily at the Old Town Hall for a $20 entry fee. This year’s event features a competitive lineup of awards, with prizes up for grabs across multiple categories. Participants can compete for honors in Parade Floats—including Best Overall, Most Patriotic, Best Golf Cart, and Best Musical Theme—as well as specialized awards for the Best House Decoration and Best Dock Decoration.

Commemorative 60th Anniversary & America250 T-shirts are on sale now for $20 each. They are available for purchase daily through July 4 at the Old Town Hall, or online by scanning the QR code on the official event flyer.
