Patriotic Pier Days to Celebrate America’s 250th Along Lake Greenwood

June 24, 2026

Connect Lake Greenwood will host Patriotic Pier Days from June 28 through July 7, inviting boaters and residents to tour patriotic displays along the shores of Lake Greenwood in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary and South Carolina’s 250th anniversary.

The official Patriotic Pier Days Tour Map will be published June 25, giving boaters a guide to the displays around the lake. As of this announcement, the map includes 36 residential displays, four commercial displays and two public spaces.

From June 28 through July 7, boaters can use the map to explore the lake and take in the creativity, patriotism and community spirit of the participating locations. Displays range from simple American flags to elaborate patriotic decorations along the shoreline.

The map link will be available through Connect Lake Greenwood’s website, social media channels and email communications beginning June 25.

Organizers said the event welcomes both those taking part with displays and those simply touring the lake, encouraging the community to celebrate the country’s history and the lake community together.

Connect Lake Greenwood also thanked everyone who registered and helped make the event possible.
