Southern Twist & Trade to host fall market Friday and Saturday in downtown Laurens
September 15, 2026Southern Twist & Trade will welcome shoppers to a two-day fall market this week, pairing the debut of the store’s fall collection with a lineup of local vendors, samples and giveaways.
The market runs Friday, Sept. 18, from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the shop at 109 W. Public Square in downtown Laurens.
Shop owners said pumpkins and new fall arrivals are rolling out across the store ahead of the weekend, with fresh merchandise added throughout the sales floor. Visitors can expect special offers and giveaways both days, along with fall goodies to sample while they browse.
Three local vendors will pop up for the weekend. The Purple Piggie will bring its beaded pens and other handmade items. Nana’s Sugar & Spice will offer homemade baked goods. Shaggy Sheep Farm, a cut flower farm and wool and dairy sheep operation established in 2023, will set up a flower bar.
Pop-up markets like this one give small makers a storefront audience they might not otherwise reach, and give shoppers a chance to support several local businesses in a single stop. The market also lands on a Friday and Saturday, putting extra foot traffic on the square heading into the fall season.
Organizers invited the community to spend part of the weekend shopping, snacking and supporting local businesses.
