A Conversation with Adam Schrimmer of Blank Canvas Mural Company

September 26, 2019

A Greenville resident for over eight years, Adam Schrimmer has painted over 50 pieces of artwork around the Upstate in businesses, restaurants, and schools. He also has used the mural making process to promote and better the mental health of people by transforming neighborhoods through an inclusive public art making program. This is the goal of a program called Communities of Opportunity Mural Program’s (COMP).

His latest project is ‘Iconic Greenville’ located in the Haywood Mall. It features icons like Shoeless Joe Jackson and the state’s famous flower, the yellow jasmine. Check out more of his work at Blank Canvas Mural Company.
