Abacus Planning Group Advisor earns IRS Enrolled Agent designation

Abacus Planning Group proudly announces that Stephen Maggard, CFP® has met all requirements to become an Enrolled Agent. An Enrolled Agent has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and is the highest credential the IRS awards. Those who obtain it must adhere to ethical standards and are required to stay current with tax law and regulation.

Stephen E. Maggard, CFP® graduated Cum Laude from Presbyterian College in 2012 with a BA in History. After seven years as an officer in the U.S. Army, Stephen entered the private sector as Director of Operations for an Investment Advisory firm in Summerville, SC. He joined Abacus in 2020 and has earned his CFP® designation.
