COLUMBIA, SC – Abacus Planning Group announces the appointment of X. Alexandra Chastain, CFP® to the Family Connection board of South Carolina. Family Connection is a statewide nonprofit organization with the mission “to strengthen and encourage families of children with special healthcare needs through parent support.” Family Connection’s focus is to build a support system so that children with special healthcare needs may reach their full potential.
Mrs. Chastain graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Finance in 1997. She joined Abacus at its inception in 1998 and earned her CFP® designation in 2004. As a shareholder of Abacus and head of the Abacus financial planning team, Mrs. Chastain coordinates the creation, research and implementation of strategies and processes that will enhance the overall wealth of Abacus’s clients.
