Adams and Reese announces five new partners for 2022, one in Columbia

Adams and Reese is proud to congratulate its five attorneys who have been elected to partnership in the firm, effective January 1, 2022.
Anthony M. Quattrone (Columbia) counsels clients in economic development and tax incentives, tax planning and controversy, corporate restructuring and governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He also serves as general corporate counsel to several firm clients. Quattrone received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2015, his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2016, and his B.S.M from Tulane University in 2001.
Angela Grewal (Jacksonville) represents banks and financial institutions, commercial landlords, leasing entities, floorplan lenders and other creditors in bankruptcy cases. She litigates adequate protection, assumption, and assignment of executory contracts, true lease objections, objections to disclosure statements and proposed plans of reorganization, preference and fraudulent transfer avoidance adversary actions, and discharge and dischargeability complaints. Grewal received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2012 and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Xavier University in 2009.
Chantal Pillay (Tampa) litigates matters involving promissory notes, mortgages, other contractual disputes, corporate governance, business disputes and adversary bankruptcy litigation. She also represents national and regional banking institutions and servicers on issues related to debt collection practices under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), as well as litigation arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Pillay received her J.D., cum laude, from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013, and her B.A., cum laude, from the Florida State University in 2009.
David Stewart (Jackson and Atlanta) advises business clients in company formations, restructurings, joint venture agreements, business acquisitions, and divestitures. He guides clients in purchasing and selling commercial real estate, development and management agreements, commercial leasing, and real estate financing procurement. Stewart also works with forestry and mitigation banking clients in a variety of resource transactions, including solar energy leases, mitigation bank purchases and sales, and agreements pertaining to mitigation bank sponsorship, ownership, development services, and credit sales. He received his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 2015 and his B.A. from Clemson University in 2010.
Thomas P. White (Jacksonville) represents clients in commercial litigation and with respect to regulatory matters. He regularly works with clients in highly regulated industries, such as the alcoholic beverage industry, unmanned aviation, and environmental mitigation banking. White frequently interacts with government regulators and counsels clients regarding regulatory compliance issues and licensure. In litigation, he works with business owners and their management teams faced with complex business disputes, often involving contract disagreements, professional negligence, or claims seeking injunctive relief. White received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Auburn University in 2011.
