Aflac Group awards $378,000 in grants to South Carolina nonprofits

Aflac has awarded $378,000 in grants to 48 local nonprofit organizations in its Spring and Fall 2022 grant cycles. Awarded grantees are working on projects that support health & well-being and education in South Carolina communities.
Since establishing the Aflac Charitable Fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation in 2016, Aflac has awarded more than $1.96 million through 246 grants funding nonprofit programs across South Carolina.

Aflac established its fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation to strengthen its philanthropic efforts. The Community Foundation acts as a centralized point of contact for all grant requests and manages the grants administration, evaluation, outreach and distribution. Aflac’s grants committee is comprised of a dedicated group of community-minded employee volunteers.
