All Clear Plumbing welcomes Dodd as fourth generation apprentice

All Clear Plumbing welcomes Kenneth Dodd as their newest apprentice, continuing to grow their team of skilled tradesmen.
Dodd is training to become a fourth-generation plumber, working alongside his father, who is also employed by All Clear. Originally from Florida, he is a 2014 graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School, and pursued a career in culinary arts before becoming frustrated with the lack of clear career progression. As an apprentice, Dodd will receive four years of on the job training in addition to online classes through the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association. Dodd will be the fourth apprentice to join the program.
The All Clear Plumbing apprenticeship program offers comprehensive, union-quality training in the plumbing trade through a full-time position with benefits. The program is certified by the Department of Labor. Upon completion of the program, apprentices are prepared to take the Journeyman’s Test, which provides them with their plumber’s license.
All Clear Plumbing is one of only a handful of companies in South Carolina to train their plumbers through a certified apprenticeship program. This program also indicates to homeowners the quality of plumbers employed by All Clear Plumbing.
“Many students aren’t aware of all of the options available to start their careers outside of traditional education,” said Anja Smith, managing partner of All Clear Plumbing. “By becoming an apprentice in plumbing or another skilled trade, you can get the education you need and start a great career at the same time.”
