Allstate Foundation awards Patrick Cunningham Agency Hands in the Community Award
April 28, 2009IRMO, SC – April 28, 2009 – Patrick Cunningham of Irmo was awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to volunteering in the community. With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Department of Juvenile Justice where Cunningham volunteers.
Cunningham works with the young men of the Elm and Pine Units, helping them understand the challenges they face upon entering society again. The focus is on making life style changes so they can become productive members of society.
Patrick Cunningham was nominated by Allison Carroll, market sales leader at Allstate Insurance Company.
“Patrick has always been a civic minded person who is an asset to his community,” said Carroll. “I am glad that he received this well deserved honor.”

Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations that seek to improve the quality of life in communities across the country.
