American Legion Post 25 to Break Ground on New Home in Laurens

In the heart of Laurens, American Legion Post 25 embodies the strength of community, dedication, and a common mission. During the past seven year Post 25 has tirelessly worked on raising funds and securing land for a new post home. This space is envisioned not just as a hub for legion activities but also as a venue for community events.
American Legion Post 25 will host a groundbreaking ceremony on February 17 at 11:00 am at the site for the new post home, 19 Choctaw Street, Laurens.
“It’s been a lot of work raising funds while also engaging in numerous community service projects,” says Post Commander Kevin Farnsworth. “We can’t thank the community enough for supporting us throughout this journey.”
Over the years, American Legion Post 25 has been a cornerstone of the Laurens community, actively participating in and organizing numerous initiatives to benefit the local residents.
The community is invited to join members of American Legion Post 25 for the groundbreaking event on February 17.
