American Marketing Association CEO Russ Klein to speak at Columbia chapter meeting

The Columbia chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) announces that national CEO Russ Klein will be the keynote speaker at the Columbia chapter’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan 19, 2016.

The meeting will be held at the Darla Moore School of Business in Columbia, at 1014 Greene St., Auditorium 101, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meeting is free for members of AMA Columbia and $20 for nonmembers. Klein will recognize the local chapter’s growth since inception in 2014 and talk about best and next marketing practices worldwide.

“We are honored to welcome Russ Klein as our speaker for the January AMA Columbia chapter meeting,” said Jeff Rehling, founder of the AMA Columbia chapter and marketing lecturer at the Darla Moore School of Business. “Mr. Klein brings years of expertise with some of the world’s top brand names. Our members and anyone else in attendance should expect a very valuable presentation.”

Prior to serving as AMA CEO, Klein led marketing teams at Arby’s Restaurant Group, Burger King Corporation, 7-Eleven Corporation, Dr Pepper/7Up Companies and more. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
