‘American Pickers’ heading to the Carolinas and Virginia to film in November

October 6, 2026

The History Channel series “American Pickers” will return to South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia in November 2026 to film new episodes, and the show’s producers are seeking local collectors with unusual items and stories to share.

The documentary series follows professional pickers as they travel the country’s back roads in search of valuable antiques and rare finds. Along the way, the team looks for historically significant objects, memorable personalities and the stories connected to their collections.

According to the show’s producers, the goal is to rescue and repurpose forgotten pieces of the past while learning more about American history in the process. After years of uncovering what the pickers call “rusty gold,” the team remains eager to come across items it has never encountered before.

Producers are now gathering leads for the upcoming filming. Residents who have a unique collection, an interesting story behind it and a willingness to sell are encouraged to reach out. The show does not feature stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or any location open to the public, so only private collections will be considered.

Anyone interested in being considered should send their name, phone number, location and a description of the collection, along with photos, to [email protected]. Leads can also be submitted by calling 646-493-2184.
