Ameris Bank announces Dustin Morris as Greenville business banker

Ameris Bank Greenville Market President David Charpia is excited to announce that Dustin Morris has joined the Greenville banking team as a commercial lender. In this role, Morris will be responsible for new commercial business development and maintenance of commercial banking relationships.
“We are very fortunate to have Dustin join the Greenville team,” said Charpia. “Dustin has experience in several facets of the financial industry, and his perspective and expertise will benefit our new and existing customers.”
Morris previously served as commercial credit portfolio manager for Ameris Bank in Columbia, S.C where he was involved in underwriting numerous commercial loans, while participating in business development efforts with account officers.
Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Morris served as area director of finance for Education Corporation of America.
Morris earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State University and is currently enrolled in the South Carolina Bankers School.
Morris and his wife, Meagan, are in the process of moving to Greenville and looking forward to exploring the area with their son, Maverick. Morris enjoys sports such as golf and football, and particularly enjoys rooting for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
