October 21, 2016

Ameris Bank announced its ticket sponsorship of the 2016 – 2017 Columbia City Ballet season. Since its founding in 1961, the Columbia City Ballet has integrated the world of dance within the lives of Columbians. Now in its 56th season, the Columbia City Ballet has grown to be the largest performing arts organization in the state, presenting their art to a constantly growing and diverse audience.

“Ameris Bank is honored to be aligned with such a worthy organization,” said Columbia Market President Mze Wilkins. “Supporting the arts in the Midlands allows us to play a small part in building community character and culture, and we are delighted to do so.”

The Columbia City Ballet kicks off its season with Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, which debuts in Columbia at the Koger Center for the Arts on October 27th.  This Halloween favorite is based on the novel by Bram Stoker, and brings the mystery of Transylvania right here to Columbia. Tickets for the 2016-2017 season are available at www.kogercenterforthearts.com.
