Amick Joins South State Bank

COLUMBIA, SC – South State Bank announced that Susan Paget Amick has been named commercial lender for its Lexington and Columbia markets.

Prior to joining South State Bank, Amick worked with a large national bank as vice president and commercial relationship manager.  With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Amick has worked in various positions in retail and commercial management for national, regional and community banks.

Amick is a graduate of Furman University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration.  She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Banker’s School and Leadership Lexington County.

An active member of the community, Amick serves on the board of the Palmetto Center for Women and is a past board member of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Lexington, and Pawmetto Lifeline.
