Amteck opens upgraded Charleston office to support continued growth in the South Carolina Lowcountry
October 22, 2026
Amteck, a full-service electrical contractor, has relocated its Charleston operation to a larger facility on Palmetto Commerce Parkway, providing the team with greater capacity and enhanced capabilities to support clients throughout the greater Charleston region and South Carolina Lowcountry.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony united government officials, clients, suppliers, industry representatives, members of the media, representatives from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, and employees to celebrate the opening of the facility and the beginning of a new chapter for the company.
The move represents more than a new address for Amteck’s Charleston team. The previous location served the operation well, but the new facility provides a stronger platform for continued growth while positioning the team more centrally within its service footprint. This location will allow Amteck to respond more efficiently to clients across the region while better supporting the geographic area served by the Charleston operation.
“Our move to Palmetto Commerce Parkway represents more than a new address. It reflects our continued commitment to the Lowcountry and the clients and communities we serve,” said Justin Bremer, Regional Manager of Technologies at Amteck. “As our team and capabilities continue to grow, this location puts us in a better position to respond quickly to clients that need fast support for critical operations. We’re proud of what our Charleston team has built, and this new home gives us an even stronger foundation for the years ahead.”
As demand grows across the region’s medical, manufacturing, higher education and mission-critical sectors, the upgraded facility positions Amteck to meet that need with the people, relationships and technical capabilities required to support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial construction through ongoing service and support. The company also remains committed to developing local talent, creating opportunities for employees to build lasting careers with Amteck in the greater Charleston region.
“This relocation reflects the growth and success of our Charleston team,” said Corey Bard, President of Amteck. “We are fortunate to have great clients and outstanding employees in this region, and we are confident that this move will support our continued success for years to come.”
