Anchor Investment Management welcomes Laura Culler as new controller

 Seasoned financial management expert joins expanding team of wealth management advisors

Anchor Investment Management, a leading asset management firm based in Columbia, South Carolina, welcomes longtime finance professional, Laura Culler, as its new controller. Culler’s nearly three decades of experience in accounting and financial management will be instrumental in supporting Anchor’s growing team and evolving operations. Culler brings a strong expertise in budget administration, treasury management and governmental accounting to the role.

After earning dual degrees in accounting and business administration from Presbyterian College, Culler spent more than 20 years at McNair Law Firm, P.A., where she held various financial leadership roles, including accountant, billing manager and controller. She then transitioned to the public sector, serving as director of finance for the towns of Chapin and Winnsboro, where she oversaw budgeting, treasury operations and financial reporting.

Outside of her professional life, Culler is a dedicated soccer mom who enjoys cheering on her sons in their travel and high school teams. Her ability to balance her leadership role with her family and personal interests reflects the same dedication and drive that she brings to her career in financial management.
