Angelica Tyler joins the Original Six Foundation as Program Coordinator
February 6, 2025The Original Six Foundation announced that Angelica Tyler has joined the organization as the new Program Coordinator. With an extensive background in STEM program management and a passion for fostering community-driven initiatives, Angelica will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of the Foundation’s O6 Afterschool and My First Library programs.
Angelica brings a wealth of experience from her work in various community-centered organizations. Her commitment to making a meaningful impact aligns perfectly with the Foundation’s goals of enhancing education in rural and underserved communities and fostering a love for learning that will help boost self- esteem and inspire students to succeed in school and in life.
“Angelica’s ability to connect with people and her creative approach to programming make her a perfect fit for the O6,” said Kara Gormley Meador, Executive Director of the Original Six Foundation. “Her expertise, passion to help students succeed, and dedication to positive change will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our programs.”
As Program Coordinator, Angelica will be responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s programmatic initiatives, working closely with students, teachers and staff at each of the Original Six Foundation’s public-school partners while fostering additional community partnerships.
As a product of afterschool programs Angelica believes in the transformative power of OST (Out-of-School Time) education. Angelica brings a background rooted in creating opportunities for youth, regardless of their background. “Each and every child deserves access to the same opportunities that help unlock their full potential,” Angelica Tyler said.
