Annual Lake Greenwood Cleanup Scheduled: Uniting Communities for a Cleaner Future

Join Keep Laurens County Beautiful and Affiliates for a Day of Action on March 9, 2024″

On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB), in collaboration with Greenwood County Litter Prevention and Keep Greenwood County Beautiful, invites the community to come together for a collective effort to preserve the beauty of Lake Greenwood.

Event Details:

  • Date: March 9, 2024
  • Time: 9 am – 12 pm (lunch provided at Break on the Lake afterward)
  • Meeting Point: Volunteers with KLCB will meet at the Riverfork Road Boat Access

Site Locations:

Participants will gather at the Riverfork Road boat access, where all necessary supplies for the cleanup will be provided. The cleanup effort will focus on various key locations around Lake Greenwood, including:

  • Break on the Lake
  • Lake Greenwood State Park
  • Buzzard’s Roost
  • Camp Fellowship
  • Harris Landing
  • River Fork Boat Ramp
  • Moon’s Landing

After the cleanup efforts conclude at noon, participants are invited to enjoy lunch at Break on the Lake (Dutch treat).
