Another weekend, so what’s on tap in Laurens County?

There’s something for everyone in Laurens County.  From dining to music, movies and markets.  Here just some of the line-up for this weekend:

Friday, June 18^th:

• Head over to Verdin’s Too in Laurens for a music-filled evening under the stars. Visit one of the many delightful food establishments on the city square of Main Street Laurens.The Front Porch Churn will be serving their delicious homemade ice cream on site. Steve Eager & Friends will be back w/more wonderful, uplifting music. Bring a chair, your family & friends. The open-air atmosphere of plants, flowers & garden decor is a spectacular place to enjoy this FREE concert.
• Friday Night Live with J Stephens and The Stubborn Hearts at Palmetto Brothers Brewery
• Catch a movie at the Capitol Theatre. Click here to see what’s playing.

Saturday, June 19^th:

• Laurens Farmers Market – (8 am – 12 noon) Vendors will be set up on the Roma side of the Square so grab a coffee from the Coffee Roost and shop all the great deals at the farmers market.
• After you finish shopping at the farmers market stop by Cornerstone Investment Management (Renee Underwood and Robi Owens) to properly dispose of confidential information.  They will be shredding documents from 8:00 am to noon on the square in downtown Laurens. They do ask that your boxes include only paper documents, no metal clips or plastic.
• Get out and enjoy some local hiking trails. The Laurens County Trails Association website has a list of local trails (click here) and be sure to check out the newest trail, Millers Fork Trail which includes a nice water feature and some much needed shade on hot days.
• Shop local including some great stores in Laurens and Clinton and be sure to stop by the Antique Pop-Up Shop in Clinton for some great deals.
• Cool off inside with popcorn and a movie (see above for link to Capitol Theatre current movie.
