Ashia Crooms, Wes Moran join Nelson Mullins in Columbia

Ashia B. Crooms and Wesley T. Moran have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as associates in Columbia.

Ms. Crooms will practice with the Business and Distribution Litigation Group in the areas of complex business litigation, including lender liability and dealer/distributor/franchise disputes. She has previous experience as a summer associate with the Firm and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Terry L. Wooten, Chief United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina.

Ms. Crooms earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude, from Wingate University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Mr. Moran will focus his practice on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, products liability, and business litigation. He has worked as a summer associate for the Firm and as an intern in both the Implementation Department of E*Trade Financial and the S.C. Lieutenant Governor’s Office.

Mr. Moran earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, cum laude, from Clemson University, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
