Ashley Clark named ATHENA Young Professional

The Greenville Chamber named Ashley Clark, owner of Kilwins Greenville, the 2021 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award recipient. The award was presented at the 10th Annual ATHENA Leadership Symposium on November 10th.

This prestigious award honors emerging women leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession, improve the quality of life in their community, and serve as a role model for other young women. This is the inaugural presentation of the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award.

Ashley and her husband, Landon, own four successful Kilwins stores across the Southeast. Ashley has received numerous awards, including being selected as the South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Ashley was also recognized for her outstanding dedication to professional, community, and personal leadership. In addition to her work as a multi-unit franchisee, she is highly involved in the community. She served as a Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner for three years and has also volunteered with numerous organizations including Girls on the Run, Ducks Unlimited, The Family Effect, the Minority Business Accelerator, and more.

ATHENA International is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to building a global pipeline of women leaders from the classroom to the boardroom who will create a balance in voices of leadership worldwide. The Greenville Chamber has partnered with ATHENA International since 2001 to present the annual ATHENA Leadership Award.
