Ashley Dorsey named the principal at Stono Park Elementary School

Charleston County School District (CCSD) announced that Ashley Dorsey has been named the principal at Stono Park Elementary School. She has been serving as the school’s interim principal and is excited to join the Stono Park community.
“I am honored to lead Stono Park Elementary School and to work alongside such dedicated staff, students, and families,” said Dorsey. “I look forward to building strong relationships and continuing the school’s tradition of excellence.”
Dorsey came to CCSD after serving for several years as a fifth-grade talent development teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She has since served as the partial magnet coordinator at Sullivan’s Island Elementary School, assistant principal at Stiles Point Elementary School, and principal at Laurel Hill Primary School and James B. Edwards Elementary School.
