AT&T Invests $35,000 in Lexington County Industrial Park

LEXINGTON, SC – February 26, 2009 – – AT&T is presenting Lexington County with a $35,000 check today to assist with the site certification process on the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park located on Interstate 26 just south of Interstate 77. The industrial park is served by rail and has direct access to water, sewer, gas and telecommunications.

Lexington County Council understands the importance of product as it relates to industrial recruitment. Of equal importance is to have the industrial park certified and ready for construction development. The assistance by AT&T will provide an advantage for the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park in the fiercely competitive industrial recruitment arena, said Debbie Summers, Chairwoman of Lexington County Council.
