Attorney J. Clayton Mitchell joins Gallivan White Boyd’s Columbia, South Carolina office

Gallivan White Boyd announced that Attorney J. Clayton Mitchell has joined the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina office.
Mitchell will practice law as a member of the firm’s Insurance Group, as well as the Business and Commercial Litigation Group. He will represent clients in all phases of litigation matters related to: personal injury, premises liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation and SIU investigations.
Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. He earned his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. Mitchell gained additional experience working as Assistant Attorney General (Staff Attorney) with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office where he served as the lead securities fraud and white collar crimes prosecutor. In representing the State before the South Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in numerous cases, Mitchell also brings appellate court experience to Gallivan White Boyd.
