Attorney Janice Holmes Accepted into the Leadership Columbia Class of 2015

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. announced that attorney Janice Holmes has been selected into the Leadership Columbia Class of 2015.  Established in 1973 by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Columbia program provides existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network. The program will provide Holmes with insight into community issues, leadership skills, opportunities for community involvement, and access to community leaders to discuss current issues in Columbia.

Holmes is a litigation attorney who practices out of the firm’s Columbia office. Currently, Holmes concentrates her practice on insurance coverage issues, business and commercial litigation, and toxic and mass torts. Her business and commercial practice experience encompasses a wide range of topics. Holmes also has extensive experience in the toxic and mass torts practice area.  She has served as national coordinating counsel for a Fortune 100 company in managing cases involving alleged asbestos exposures in over 30 states. As coordinating counsel, Holmes’ responsibilities included preparing corporate witnesses, developing training programs for local counsel, and working with local counsel to coordinate depositions and trial strategy.
