Auro Hotels announces 2021 opening of AC Hotel Greenville

Auro Hotels announced AC Hotel Greenville, a new hotel located in downtown Greenville, SC that will boast luxurious accommodations and unique amenities when it opens early 2021. The hotel will also offer nearly 10,000 square feet of dedicated space for meetings and events and an additional 19,000 square feet of space will be available through rental of the food and beverage outlets. Throughout the hotel, guests and visitors will discover the rich history of Greenville as the spectacular property will pay homage to the city and celebrate the local area through its offerings, design, and collection of artwork by local and regional artists. The property’s debut will also mark the launch of many new restaurants that will be located at AC Hotel Greenville.

Location
AC Hotel Greenville will be situated on a historic South Main Street location that was once home to the Greenville News building. Nestled in the heart of Downtown on Camperdown Plaza and across the street from the Peace Center, one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and iconic Upstate destinations such as Falls Park and The Liberty Bridge will be within walking distance of the hotel and bicycles will also be available for city exploration. Guests will also be able to easily escape to the great outdoors as the Blue Ridge Mountains and many local lakes and parks are a short drive away. The hotel is 14 miles from The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

Guestrooms and Suites
AC Hotel Greenville will offer 196 modern and elegant guestrooms, including six balcony rooms overlooking Main Street and four signature suites, one of which will be a bridal suite. All accommodations will provide upscale amenities such as adjustable reading lamps, comfortable beds, plush pillows, a mini refrigerator and an in-room safe, while the suites will additionally feature a kitchen, a granite topped bar and an oversized en suite bathroom with double vanities. Exclusive to the bridal suite will be a large round table that seats six, a three-way mirror with platform, and two professionally lit make-up booths.

Dining
The arrival of AC Hotel Greenville to South Main Street will also mark the opening several new and exciting Downtown restaurants, each presenting a dining experience unlike any other to Greenville and the Upstate. Located at the hotel will be Juniper, The Secret Garden, Fire Box, The Press Room, Paloma, Social Burger and AC Kitchen.

Juniper:
The 16,000 square-foot rooftop space located on top of AC Hotel Greenville promises multiple high-energy zones, handcrafted cocktails, and remarkable views. The urban gin bar will also offer a small plate dining experience and be home to the open-air Secret Cocktail Garden, and Fire Box, which will serve Neapolitan-style pizzas and salads.

The Press Room:
This modern speakeasy will provide an intimate cocktail bar experience. From its entrance evoking an editor’s room to a menu featuring signature drinks inspired by the newspaper, The Press Room will pay tribute to The Greenville News.

Paloma:
Paloma is a Mediterranean-inspired tapas bar that will be located on the ground floor and open onto the corner of Main and Broad Streets. Indoor diners will relish in views of Main Street and fresh breezes provided by a glass NanaWall that will open up to an assortment of chic tables with white umbrellas, which set the scene for an exceptional al fresco dining experience.

Social Burger:
A walk-up burger and milkshake bar, Social Burger will be located directly on Camperdown Plaza. To-go orders will be placed at Social Burger’s window and customers will have the option to enjoy their meal on the Plaza, which will have table and chairs available.

AC Kitchen:
This European-inspired spot will offer fresh breakfast foods daily. It will be available to hotel guests and it will also open to the public.

Meetings and Events
Throughout the hotel’s eight floors will be nearly 10,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space providing a variety of high-design interior spaces and outdoor settings. An additional 19,000 square feet of space will be available through the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. Natural light and contemporary design will enhance the flexible and open spaces that will accommodate everything from corporate meetings, training sessions and presentations, to weddings and other celebratory events. AC Hotel Greenville’s meeting and event space will include Jasmine Hall, Reedy Hall, The Loft, Main & Broad, and The Library.

Jasmine Hall:
This stunning rooftop ballroom will boast floor to ceiling windows overlooking Downtown and Camperdown Plaza. It will also feature a dedicated bar and a glass NanaWall that opens up to an all-weather patio. Jasmine Hall will be adjacent to, and can be combined with, The Secret Cocktail Garden, which will also be available for events as one of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. With unobstructed views of the city and the Blue Ridge Mountains and its own dedicated bar, The Secret Garden will be perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and private events.

Reedy Hall:
This unique meeting space will feature an abundance of natural light and a private terrace that looks across Main Street and opens directly onto Camperdown Plaza. Reedy Hall will have the ability to be divided into three sections for small meetings, breakout rooms or ceremonies, and it will be complete with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment.

The Loft:
The Loft is a private event space that will be ideal for board meetings and strategic planning and breakout sessions. It will include built-in buffets and advanced audio and visual equipment.

Main & Broad:
This space will catapult over the corner of Main and Broad Streets with floor to ceiling windows revealing unparalleled views of the Peace Center and the city. Its sleek design and luxurious amenities will include a built-in bar, opulent seating, and a sound system, making Main & Broad a perfect space for hospitality suites, welcome parties, and bridal party gathering rooms.

The Library:
A quintessential board room with natural light and built in buffets, The Library will suit small meetings and luncheons. It will also be ideal for a luxurious hospitality suite experience or dinner party.

Fitness
AC Hotel Greenville’s fitness facility will boast floor to ceiling windows that overlook Main Street.
