Award-Winning Astralis Chamber Ensemble presents “Evening in France” at Pawleys Island

Friends of Music at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church is pleased to announce the return of the award-winning Astralis Chamber Ensemble for a special performance, “Evening in France,” on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
Hailed as “scary good” and “truly riveting,” the ensemble features an exquisite instrumentation of flute, cello, and harp:

The evening’s program celebrates the beauty and elegance of French classical music, featuring works by Gabriel Fauré, a challenging trio by Jacques Ibert, and expressive compositions by acclaimed female composers Lili Boulanger and Henriette Renié.
The performance is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Parish Life Center of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, located at 1633 Waverly Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
