COLUMBIA, SC – Join us at IT-oLogy for the coolest summer camps! From 3D Printing to Robotics, IT-oLogy’s summer camp offerings are a must for middle and high school students interested in technology!

IT-oLogy Open Hardware Summer Camp 2015

June 15-18
Middle School 9am-12pm M-Th,  12 participants
High School 1pm-4pm M-Th,  12 participants

Students will learn about electricity and electronics principles and create circuits using Circuit Scribe and LittleBits.  They will then work on and program projects using various physical computing platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.  After understanding these principles, they will implement what they learned by creating an electronics project involving soldering and will take home the finished project.

Day 1 – Electronics Basics /Electroniks CircuitScribe/ Little Bits
Day 2 – Arduino
Day 3 – Soldering Project
Day 4 – Raspberry Pi

IT-oLogy 3D Printing Summer Camp 2015Middle School 9am-12pm M-Th,  8 participants
High School 1pm-4pm M-Th,  8 participants

Participants will learn to navigate 3D modeling software, such as TinkerCAD and 3Dtin.  Participants will learn 3D Printing principles, history, and concepts.  Participants will then create complex geometries with 3D Modeling and Scanning technologies, which they will be able to take home with them.

Cost: $250

IT-oLogy Robotics Summer Camp 2015August 3-6
Middle School 9am-12pm M-Th, 12 participants
High School 1pm-4pm M-Th,  12 participants

This camp will focus on physical computing by bringing robotics projects to life using computer programming. This camp will be using the following robotics platforms: Sphero, Hummingbird, and LEGO Mindstorms.

Cost: $150 (optional purchase: Hummingbird Kit for take home project $200 extra)
