Back-to-School Book Sale scheduled for one day only

August 12, 2019

As the summer starts to wind down, the Richland Library Friends and Foundation wants to help children, teens and adults gather essentials for the start of a new academic year. The organization is hosting a Back-to-School Book Sale from 2 – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, August 25 at the Richland Library Operations Center (130 Lancewood Road).

It’s a chance to get your hands on some great deals and rare finds while adding to your book, music and movie collections. There are more than 30,000 gently-used items to choose from, available in all genres. Prices for paperbacks start at $1, and prices for hardbacks start at $2.

The Richland Library Friends and Foundation hosts four books sales a year – winter, spring, summer and fall. Combined, these events raise more than $60,000 a year to support the library.

Want to donate gently-used books, CDs or DVDs for upcoming book sales? Visit richlandlibrary.com and click “Give” for more information.
