Ballpark Previews and Luxury Suite Reservations for Spirit Communications Park Available Starting February 23

February 18, 2015

Suite packages available for preview & sales, Feb. 23 – 26

COLUMBIA, SC — Due to the overwhelming interest shown since the groundbreaking for Spirit Communications Park, Columbia Professional Baseball will be providing project updates and information on the first seating available for purchase at the ballpark next week—approximately six weeks ahead of the initial schedule.

Minor League Baseball is returning to the midlands in the Spring of 2016 and, starting February 23rd, interested parties will have the opportunity to be among the venue’s inaugural Luxury Suite partners.

Since construction started just six weeks ago, the team has received hundreds of inquiries regarding the project. This incredible level of interest convinced the team to accelerate plans to finalize some aspects of the design and share those with the public.

Today the team released the first renderings of the interior of the ballpark—images of the Luxury Suites and Club Level Lounge. Spirit Communications Park will have 16 Luxury Suites, each seating up to 20 guests and with full access to the 7,000 square foot Club Level Lounge. Luxury Suites are the perfect spot for corporate entertainment, employee recruitment and other company, group, social and family outings. The Club Lounge will be a gathering and networking space for the guests in the Luxury Suites and the 135 Club Seats.

“The Luxury Suites at Spirit Communications Park will be first class,” said Jason Freier, CEO, Hardball Capital. “They will offer an amazing view of the field with top-notch amenities and personalized food and beverage service.”

A variety of Luxury Suite plans will be available, ranging from the full 70 games to quarter-season packages of 17 games.

The team is now setting appointments with parties interested in learning more about the project, the Venue and Luxury Suite and Club Seat opportunities. Presentations will take place from February 2326, 2015 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Downtown Columbia. Please call Abby Naas, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, at 803-726-4487 to make a reservation.

Full and partial season ticket packages in other areas of Spirit Communications Park will be available later this spring.
