Bank of America Private Bank expands Upstate team with new hires

Bank of America Private Bank announced several new hires in Greenville, emphasizing the firm’s commitment to expanding its presence across the United States and serving clients at the local level.

The new Bank of America Private Bank team includes Frank Wilson, Private Client Advisor and Senior Vice President; Lisa Wilson, Private Client Manager and Senior Vice President; Heather Boone, Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President; and Katherine Odom, Trust Officer and Senior Vice President.

Frank Wilson joins as a Private Client Advisor and has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years. Previously, Wilson was a Wealth Advisor at Wells Fargo Private Bank and predecessor organizations for 21 years. Frank is a NASD Registered Principal with Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia. He has been active with various philanthropic, professional and civic organizations throughout his career. He has served on the boards at Greenville YMCA Metro, Safe Harbor, Carolina Youth Symphony and Neighborhoods in Action.

Lisa Wilson joins as a Private Client Manager and has been in the financial services industry for 23 years. She was a Senior Private Banker with Wells Fargo Private Bank for 14 years and was with Bank of America previously for seven years. Lisa is a NASD Registered Principal with Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting, from Western Carolina University in 1997. She is a 2004 graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School at the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the Oakbrook Preparatory School Parents Club and United Way Women Leadership Council Initiative. She has actively volunteered with Mobile Meals, Boys and Girls Club of the Upstate, Ellen Hines Smith Girl’s Home, Carolina Miracle League Playground Initiative, Converse College Planned Giving Council and The Junior League of Spartanburg.

Heather Boone joins as a Portfolio Manager and has 20 years of investment and client relationship management experience. She was a Senior Investment Strategist with Wells Fargo Private Bank for 6 years. She completed Leadership Tampa in 2009, obtained Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2006 and graduated from the Florida Bankers Association Trust School in 2003. Heather has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.

Katherine Odom joins as a Trust Officer and has been a part of the financial services industry for 18 years. She was a Senior Fiduciary Advisory Specialist at Wells Fargo Private Bank with 10 years of combined service. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and graduated from the ABA National Graduate Trust School. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She is a board member of The Family Effect and past president of Hessie Morrah Garden Club. She also served as a member of The Junior League of Greenville and The Junior League of Charlotte.
