New Merchants And A New Carousel Will Join The Exceptional Lineup At The Area’s Only Waterway Shopping, Dining And Entertainment Complex
MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Burroughs & Chapin Company, Inc. has announced the opening of several new specialty shops, as well as a variety of other venues that will open soon at Barefoot Landing. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Barefoot Landing is an extraordinary shopping, dining and entertainment complex that is known for its unique atmosphere and the many fun and family-friendly activities it provides guests throughout the year.
Several new shops have recently opened at Barefoot Landing. East End Cigar Company carries a vast assortment of cigars, in addition to its own premium brand of hand-rolled Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic tobacco blends. Hollywood Heroes & Villains features popular TV, movie, comic book, and cartoon memorabilia. The Little Charleston Shop carries assorted sizes of popular Lowcountry sweetgrass baskets, gourd baskets and other fine gifts. Stop by the shop to watch the unique craft of weaving sweetgrass baskets or take a class to learn how to to make this centuries-old treasure. And guaranteed to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth, The Crafty Cow serves up delicious ice cream made in-store daily.
This summer, visitors to Barefoot Landing will be able to check out even more one-of-a-kind shops. October Hill Road, a specialty gift store, will offer brands like Stonewall Kitchen®, FarmHouse Fresh®, Natural Life, and Life is Good®. For those looking to decorate a man cave, Garage Classics will be the place to shop for its assortment of automobile and motorcycle collectibles, signs, die casts, hats, and T-shirts. In need of a little pampering? Splash Fresh Bath & Body will offer luxury bath and body care, everything needed to create a spa-like experience at home. And, for fine art or fun art, Barefoot Landing will soon bring Master’s Editions Fine Art Gallery and Paradise Artworks to its vast array of merchants.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the scenic water views even more. Beginning in June, Salt Shaker Boat Tours will take visitors on guided waterway tours with its CraigCat boats. After the scenic trip, stop by the Frothy Dog Tavern, a lakefront bar that will feature refreshing drinks and light bites. For the young or young at heart, a new carousel featuring 30 movable animals of various types, two chariots and two standing horses is scheduled to arrive this summer. The carousel will be situated over the lake on a newly constructed platform near Lakeview Courtyard, providing spectacular views for all.
