BASF donates nearly $12,000 to Seneca Fire Department

BASF donated $11,983 to the City of Seneca Fire Department to purchase a new Genesis eFORCE Rescue Tool.
The hydraulic rescue tool is used by emergency rescue personnel to assist vehicle extrication of crash victims, as well as other rescues from small spaces.
“BASF’s support is so important to our firefighters’ ability to serve our community. Their donation allows us to replace this crucial life-saving tool at a critical time,” Fire Chief Richie Caudill said.
BASF is a long-time supporter of the City of Seneca and its residents. In December, BASF donated $750 to the Seneca Fire Department. Last April, BASF donated $50,000 to the City of Seneca for its tornado cleanup efforts, and it also gave 10 generators to city residents after the storm through the City of Seneca Police Department. Additionally, BASF provided 400 meals to tornado first responders, and dozens of its employees and contractors spent 1,000 volunteer hours over six weekends helping community members clean up.
