New office to bring high-tech pediatric home care services and jobs to Columbia
BAYADA Pediatrics, a BAYADA Home Care specialty practice, will host an open house to celebrate the grand opening of its new office located at 900 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 103 in Columbia. The event will be held on Monday, October 24 from 11 am to 6 pm.
Representative from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce will add to the festivities as they officiate the formal ribbon cutting ceremony at noon.
“We encourage nurses to stop by and learn about career opportunities in pediatric home care,” said Tim Peterkin, director of the BAYADA Pediatrics office. “The event is also a great opportunity for physicians, discharge planners, and parents of children with special needs to learn about our services.”
BAYADA provides nursing care at home and school for children with a wide range of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, brain injuries, seizure disorders, complex respiratory conditions, and feeding intolerance. Nurses receive specialized age and diagnosis-specific orientation to each patient as well as tracheostomy and ventilator training.
