BE&K/Turner to Host Project Information Sessions for Subcontractors

Two Sessions (1:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Grand Ballroom, Embassy Suites North Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC – December 3, 2009 – BE&K/Turner, the joint venture of the BE&K Building Group and Turner Construction Company awarded the contract for design and construction of The Boeing Company’s new 787 Dreamliner final assembly plant in North Charleston, will host a Project Information event for Subcontractors on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Embassy Suites North Charleston (Grand Ballroom) located at 5055 International Blvd. Integral to BE&K/Turner’s subcontracting plan is a commitment to including local, small and diverse suppliers.

There will be two sessions held — the first from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the second from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each session will begin with a project overview; an explanation of the team’s planned purchasing processes and procedures, and information on how to obtain a Qualification Package. src=/public/files/img/Turner-Construction-logo.jpg
