Belk in Laurens to Reopen as a Belk Outlet Store

Belk debuted its first outlet store in Grenville, Tennessee earlier this year and Laurens, South Carolina is next. The department store chain has plans for three more planned for Richlands, Virginia; Clarksville, Tennessee; Douglasville, Georgia; and Russellville, Arkansas.
The Laurens location closed in late February for renovations that will convert this location into an outlet store selling clearance items from larger Belk stores, according to the company.
The outlet store may carry high-end brands previously not available at the department store, according to Belk. The store will not sell beauty products or jewelry and all sales will be final.
The Laurens Belk Outlet Store is scheduled to open at the end of March. Stay tuned to the Buzz for the grand opening announcement.
