Ben Arnold Beverage Company donates to THE SUMMER FOOD DRIVE FOR KIDS

COLUMBIA, SC – Ben Arnold Beverage Company, a member of The Charmer Sunbelt Group (C-SG) recently partnered with the Wood Creek Farms Residential Community and students from Cardinal Newman High School to collect food for the Fairfield County Community Food Bank located at 96 U.S. Highway 321 BYP, Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180. This group has been collecting non-perishable, specific kid friendly food items for the past two weeks and will deliver the donations on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00am.
“The timing of this food drive is different than ones we have done in the past, we are meeting a different need”, stated Sean O’Connor, President of Ben Arnold Beverage Company. “When I spoke with volunteers from the food bank during this past holiday season, I learned one of the food bank’s biggest time of need is during the summer months when children are out of school. The reason for this is, while parents are at work, those children need easy meals they can prepare for themselves while at home on summer break”.
Ben Arnold Beverage Company, The Wood Creek Community and Cardinal Newman students wanted to step in and provide a helping hand. Mr. O’Connor also asks for other Fairfield County businesses, schools and churches step up, and support THE SUMMER FOOD DRIVE FOR KIDS.
