Ben Lippen School names Headmaster

The new headmaster at Ben Lippen School is an experienced Christian school administrator.

Tony Fajardo was chosen by the Ben Lippen School Board of Directors on the recommendation of a search committee. He begins his duties this Saturday, July 1.

Fajardo served the past seven years as head of school at Northside Christian Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, a Pre-K to 12th grade school. During his tenure the high school was named one of the top schools in North Carolina, and recognized as the most diverse Christian school in the state. Fajardo recently served as president of the Greater Charlotte Association of Christian Schools (GCACS).  

Fajardo’s administrative experience also includes serving as secondary principal at Florida Christian School in Miramar, Florida and dean of students at Dade Christian School in Miami. He holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Administration of Educational Programs from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University in Miami.

Renee Brooks, the chairwoman of the Ben Lippen board, calls Fajardo “an effective communicator, a seasoned team builder, and a passionate Christian educator.”

Fajardo replaces Chip Jones who has taken a position as a Christian school administrator in Alabama.  

Ben Lippen School is a Christian, college preparatory school of over 700 students in grades Pre-K through 12, and is a ministry of Columbia International University.
