Benny’s Sip & Scoop Partners with Due South Coffee Roasters for Local Coffee Upgrade
July 29, 2026Downtown Fountain Inn’s newly rebranded gathering spot, Benny’s Sip & Scoop, has officially announced a local partnership with Greenville-based Due South Coffee Roasters as part of its ongoing coffee menu refresh.
The announcement comes on the heels of the shop’s recent reopening at 113 South Main Street (formerly Steam Coffee & Cream), where owners renovated the interior, expanded the ice cream dipping cabinet, and updated the beverage bar.
Sourcing Local Quality
In a public announcement, the shop’s owners shared that selecting a roasting partner was a key decision during the concept’s redesign.
“When we set out to re-imagine the coffee experience at Benny’s we knew finding the right coffee partner was one of the most important decisions we’d make,” the shop shared in a social media update. “We tasted coffees from several local roasters, learned about their sourcing and roasting processes, and ultimately fell in love with everything Due South had to offer.”
Due South Coffee Roasters, which operates its primary roastery in Greenville, has been crafting specialty small-batch coffee in the Upstate since 2013.
What’s on the Menu
Under the new partnership, every espresso shot, drip coffee, latte, and cappuccino served at Benny’s Sip & Scoop will feature beans roasted locally in Greenville.
The move aligns with the shop’s focus on community-first sourcing and elevating daily coffee offerings alongside its premium ice cream menu.
